The last time Amazon traded around that level was in February 2020, before the stock dipped briefly in March 2020 along with the rest of the market during the initial pandemic uncertainty. It’s more than 40% off from the company’s 52-week intraday high of $3,773.08, which it hit July 13, 2021.Amazon’s stock skyrocketed in 2020 and 2021 as e-commerce boomed during the pandemic, with consumers flocking to online retailers for everything from face masks and Lysol wipes to patio furniture and dumbbells.
